*I still don't have a 360, but I feel it'd only to be fair to at least mention it. My apologizes if any information is wrong.
The Wii......had a bunch of nothing. The Wiiware had dust, and the VC got 1 whole game. Something called Rygar. I've never heard of it, but maybe you're a fan.
The PSN had a million things. There was a butt load of Dragon Age trailers. Ratchet and Clank Future: Quest for Booty dropped to 10$, and Burnout Paradise dropped to 15$. Several demos came out as well. I'm REALLY sorry. I tried to sneak download more, but my stupid brother kept canceling them. I swear, I'm going to be so happy once I have my own PS3. The demo's for Dragonball: Raging Blast and Critter Crunch are out. (Critter Crunch sounded interesting. I was going to download it to see if it was a gem like Worms but I didn't get to. damnnnn)
.....and YES. A demo for Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time came out. I peed everywhere. It was the only one I managed to download.
Before I begin. I need to say. It is a Clank demo. I know, don't panic. I thought "Well, booo" when I read it. Clank has never been fun to play. I mean, I guess it's a pretty neat idea...but...he always felt weak. He depended on other robots to help him do things. Even with the Zoni in Tools of Descruction, he depended on them. His jump was screwed up in that game too. I can't tell you how many times I've died from slipping off the edge of a cliff because he wouldn't even jump when I hit the button. I would always just rush through Clank's spots as fast as possible to get back to Ratchet.
This game bends you over, takes your words, then shoves them between your legs so you form a brand new hole. Clank is COOL. He's POWERFUL. It's AWESOME. I'm not gonna say anything about the story because....well, it's exciting. Demo's just aren't the place to judge it story wise. But with what's going on, I can't help but really wonder.
You start off in this ....space town of sorts run by robots. Some dude guides you through and helps you to learn the controls and such. The first thing you will notice is the way Clank runs. It isn't all blocky and small. It's fast and sexy. You just run through this cool town (being attacked by these other robots while your doing that), jumping on platforms and such. Clank can use those jump pads now. (Those green things you jump on and go flying) His jump was fixed. Thank goodness for that. Clank can also have this weird, triple boost whenever he hovers. You hover, hit the button again, he boosts, hit it again, boost, and again, then boost. You no longer have to hold the X button down to hover. Just hit it to jump, then hit it again and he'll stay hovering until he lands.
Ok, this next part is really confusing, but it's damnable cool. In this area (and probably all across the game) are these 2 pads, green and blue. Clank can stand on one, and record himself. The other pad can also be used for recording his "past self". (that's what they call it in game, a Time Pad or something) Say like, there is a button on the floor. The green you goes over to hit the button, and you can run by. But to active this, you have to be standing on the pad. So both recordings cannot run at once. So you have to re-record yourself to do the puzzles and such. It's VERY confusing but VERY awesome. It creates opportunities for unique puzzles. The game understands this is difficult, so it will give you hints, and you can select hints at any time.
In the middle of the demo, you get...teleported into Clank's subconscious. There you get EVEN MOAR cool abilities. The place is so kickass too! It's this white clock tower like...place....thing....it's odd, but it looks pretty. The platforms you stand on are made up of little cubes, and they rise up to your feet when you run. Anyway, Clank gets his staff here. The staff is so badass. It makes fighting with Clank so fun. It destroys everything. It's really cool standing on those neat platforms, whooping armies of Captain Quark's (play the demo and you'll understand what I mean) and just feeling....powerful! Clank also gets the ability to slow down time in a certain spot for a short amount of time. He throws it like a grenade. Makes you feel pretty fancy while hoving in the air, throwing a grenade, then slamming them bitches down with your staff.
Then you return to the space station thing, and finish the level with more Time Pad/grenade puzzles and a bosses that's easy as cheese. I was planning to buy this game anyway, but wow. Very nice demo!
For XBLA (again, I'm sorry if this information is wrong. It would help if I knew when XBLA updated. I thought it was Wednesday, but then I read it added some new stuff on Thursday too? Blah) Uhhh, nothing really. Some Resident Evil 5 deal is going on, I guess if you're a fan go check that out. A Magic the Gathering DLC was released. Duels of the Planeswalkers I believe. Aren't them Planeswalkers those over-powered bastards?
